Warranty Policy

1. General Warranty Coverage

Items covered by warranty include keycaps, and other eligible products as specified.

  • 60-Day Warranty: This warranty is valid for 60 days from the date of receipt as confirmed by the 17Track tracking information.
  • No Refund Policy: Refunds are not available under this warranty.
  • Replacement: Items can be replaced, provided the original item is returned and the replacement action is authorized by Thekapco, the customer will not be required to pay for the replacement unit, as Thekapco will cover the cost. However, the customer is responsible for all return shipping fees. 

2. Return Process

·       A returned package will be considered complete if: (1) it is personally received by a Customer Service Officer, or (2) its delivery status is marked as "DELIVERED" on 17Track. Packages returned without prior authorization from a Customer Support Officer will not be accepted and will be deemed invalid.

  • Customers must follow the steps outlined in the Return Procedure & Guideline to ensure a smooth return process.
  • Customers must initiate a warranty claim by emailing support@thekapco.com with proof of purchase and photo/video evidence of the issue.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition with all accessories and packaging intact.

3. Keyboard-Specific Warranty

  • One-Year Manufacturer Warranty: Keyboards are covered under a one-year warranty starting from the 17Track confirmed receipt date.
  • For warranty claims, customers are required to provide video and photo evidence as per the Return Procedure & Guideline.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects and issues but does not include damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.

4. Decision Authority

·        Special cases will be handled individually by the Customer Support Officer, whose aim is to ensure customer satisfaction in these scenarios.

5. Defects and Wear & Tear

The following are NOT covered by the warranty:

  •  Accessories and spare parts.
  • Defects caused by disassembling our product, wrongful use, improper installation, non-factory repairs/modifications, or improper adjustment of the product, or neglect, including but not limited to "burn-in" and similar wrongful use. Unless specifically stated by Customer Support Officer via E-mail.
  • Defects that have been caused by lightning, fire, water, or other events of force majeure.
  • Defects in consumables, (i.e. components that are expected to require regular replacement including without limitation: cables, etc.) or use beyond the expected lifetime of the consumable in question.
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear, especially for leather product/s.
  • Items that are prone to wear and tear, such as the keycaps, desk mat and wrist rests, will be covered by our three (3) month warranty.
  • Compatibility issues, including functions or features of macOS/Windows/Android OS are not supported (i.e. the keyboard in the wireless mode is unable to input numbers to unlock the BitLocker encrypted disk on the Windows PC), certain versions, brands, drivers, and third-party applications of macOS/Windows/Android OS may affect our product functions.
  • Thekapco is not responsible for any accidental damage coverage.

6.  Proof of Purchase

·       Customers are required to retain all proof of purchase for warranty claims.

7. Replacement Shipping Time

Replacement shipping times will match Thekapco's regular shipping times, which can be checked in our Shipping Policy or FAQ page.

8. Resolution Time for Claims

Warranty claims will be resolved within 5 business days after submission of all required documents and evidence.

9. Customer Responsibilities During Use

Customers are responsible for proper care and maintenance of their products. Avoid exposing keyboards to liquids or extreme temperatures to prevent damage.
